DURIE, Melville Leonard - Passed away Saturday April 23, 2005 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Sheila for 58 years, devoted father of Gary and his wife Victoria, Scott and his wife Mary Jane. Greatly loved by his grandchildren Neal, Rachael, Amy, Frances and Laura; his sister Shirley Lockhart, sister-in-law Dorothy Hunter; his nieces and nephews and many friends. Mel quietly lived and shared his faith in Jesus his Saviour his entire life and had a special love for children which he demonstrated by years of service teaching Sunday School and Scouting. A Memorial Service will be held at Murray Street Baptist Church on Sunday May 1st at 3:00 p.m. - 175 Murray Street, Peterborough - reception to follow.
