COMO, Orville F. Como At Thamesview Lodge, Chatham, Ontario, on Friday, April 29, 2005, Orville F. Como, age 94, of Chatham. Beloved husband of Valentine A. (Lefrancois) of Chatham. They celebrated their 73rd wedding anniversary in Sept. 2004. Born in Sombra Township on April 16, 1911, son of the late Philomene (Lucier) and Louis Como, he farmed most of his life in Chatham-Kent, retiring to Chatham in 1972. He will be sadly missed by: a son Raymond and his wife Doreen of Winchester; daughters Jean-nette Gervais and her husband Robert, and Edna Cudney and her husband Jim all of Thamesville, and Eileen Como of London; 16 great, 15 great-grand, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. He will also be fondly remembered by Robert Gard of London and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a daughter Doreen Como (May 12, 1951), 4 sisters, Lorraine I Como, Lorraine II Laprise, Clarisse Iles, and Pearl Como, and 4 brothers, Edgar I, Edgar II, Homer, and Dunna. Friends and relatives may call at the Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S., Chatham, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday, May 2nd. Funeral Service will be conducted in The Hinnegan-Peseski Chapel, on Tuesday, May 3rd, at 1 p.m. with Fr. Joseph Nevett of Blessed Sacrament Church officiating. Burial will take place in the family plot in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Chatham. Flowers gratefully declined at his request in favour of donations to The Charity of Your Choice.
