THORBURN, Jean (nee Gervais) Passed away peacefully on May 9, 2005 at 81 years of age. Loving wife of the late Thomas George Thorburn (Jan 27, 2005). Loved mother of Tom and wife Shirley Thorburn, the late Sharon Temple, Barbara Martin, Jean and husband Reg Deslippe, Richard and wife Renate Thorburn, Richard Balestrini, and the late Robert Thorburn. Dear daughter of the late Harvey and the late Alexina Gervais. Precious grandma to 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Blanche Arquette, Gord and wife Tilly Gervais, Bernard and wife Bev Gervais, Paul and wife Rose Gervais, Theresa Girard, Edward Gervais, and the late Armand Gervais, Raymond Gervais, Stanley Gervais, Roy Gervais, Bernice Duquette, and Donald Gervais. Several nieces and nephews also survive. If you so desire, memorial donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family. Visiting Wednesday 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Thursday 1 p.m. at Families First Funeral Home & Tribute Centre (969-5841) 3260 Dougall Ave. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
