SMIDU, Izabella (Kathy) 89 years. on May 11, 2005 at Versa Care Windsor Place. Beloved wife of the late Steve (1990). Loving mother of Joseph Gero and late wife Mary (1988) of California and Laszlo Gero of Hungary. Loved grandmother of Steve, Robert, Gary, Laci and great grandmother of Nicola and Attila. At Kathy's request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place. A private family service was held. Arrangements entrusted to Janisse Bros.-Marcotte Funeral Home (253-5225) . A tree will be planted in memory of Izabella Smidu in the Janisse Bros.-Marcotte Heritage Forest. A memorial service will be held on September 25, 2005. All are welcome. Published in the Windsor Star on 5/14/2005.
