SMITH, Donald Douglas A resident of Wheatley, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2005 at the Leamington District Memorial Hospital Born 80 years ago in Ridgetown to the late Stanley and Irene (Mackey) Smith. Don is survived by his wife of 62 years, Alberta (Harris) Smith and by his daughter Barb Siddall and her husband Robert of Wheatley, and by sons Leroy Smith and his wife Pam of Merlin, Don Smith and his wife Linda of North Buxton. Also surviving are fifteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Don is survived by his sister Rose Marie Smith of Morpeth and by a brother Allan Smith and his wife Carol of Ridgetown. Predeceased by a son Ralph Smith and a grandson Ricky Don Smith, one sister Verda Smith and a brother Carmen Smith. The Smith family will receive friends for visitation at the Blenheim Community Funeral Home, 60 Stanley Street, Blenheim, on Thursday, May 19, 2005 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Mr. Smith's Funeral Service will be conducted from the Blenheim Community Funeral Home on Friday, May 20, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. and will be officiated by Pastor Ed Nicol of Cedar Springs United Church. Interment to follow in Morpeth Cemetery. Friends wishing to make a memorial donation in memory of Don are asked to consider the Spina Bifida Association of Ontario.
