THOMPSON, Arthur Richard "Art" - Peacefully on Thursday, May 19, 2005 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Peggy (nee Lacey) for almost 60 years. Gentle and caring father of Jane and her husband Derrill Gallant of Mississauga. Dear brother of Frank and his wife Alice of Peterborough. Art will be remembered by his many in-laws, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Margaret Thompson and his siblings Jack, Kenneth, George, Margaret and Helen. Art and his brothers owned Thompson Bros. ESSO, corner of George & Rink Street, he was a past member of the Orange Lodge # 50, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 52 and a WW II Veteran Air Force. Friends will be received at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street from 2-4 & 7-9 pm Monday. Service will be held at ALL SAINTS ANGLICAN CHURCH, 235 Rubidge Street on Tuesday, May 24th at 1:00 pm. The Reverend Canon J. Michael A. Wright will officiate. Interment Little Lake Cemetery.
