H. Leonard C. Adams June 12, 1927 - April 23, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Fair Haven Funeral Home The death of H. Leonard C. Adams occurred on Saturday, April 23, 2005 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Springhill Junction, N.S. on June 12, 1927, he was the son of the late John C. and Marie (Nelson) Adams. Leonard retired from CNR in 1986 after 41 years of service. Leonard is survived by his wife of 41 years, Shirley (Sherrard), daughter Sandra Fougere (Andy) of Ottawa, sons; Lenley (Carolyn) of Bridgewater, N.S., Stephen of Halifax and Bruce of San Francisco, California, one sister, Rozelle Stewart of Miramichi, N.B., grandchildren; Elsa and Alec Fougere, Meghan and Olivia Adams; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Leonard was predeceased by brother Charles and sister Marjorie. At Leonard's request, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A private family service will be held at a later date.
