John Alebon August 13, 1905 - April 14, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Lower Sackville) ALEBON, John - 99, Bedford, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2005, in the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII. John was born in Birmingham, England, on August 31, 1905, and moved to Canada in 1951. He retired from OHC in 1970 to pursue his love of travel and chasing the sun. Surviving are his son, Robert (Gail) Alebon, Sackville; daughter, Anne (Joe) Staufer, Vail, Colo. He will be missed by his grandchildren, Karen and Jonathan. John was predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr., Lower Sackville.
