Clara Marie Anderson (née Mclaughlin) January 30, 1923 - April 28, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Chapel Lawn Funeral Home Clara Anderson, beloved wife of Morley, passed away peacefully at the Seven Oaks Hospital. Clara was predeceased by her parents Leo and Annie McLaughlin; sisters, Barbara, Florence and Margaret; brothers, Buddy, Dennis, William, Douglas, Richard, and Robert. She leaves to mourn her passing and to cherish her memory her loving husband of 64 years, Morley; her daughter, Kathleen (John) Allen and their children, Glenn, David, John Jr., and great-grandson Joshua Allen; her son, Brian and his children Lindsey, Laurie and Melanie. She is also survived by her brothers, Leo (Tuner), Larry (Helen) and her sister, Donelda (Al) McCausland; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. Clara will be remembered for her thoughtfulness and kind nature towards everyone. Her family was most important to her. Yearly visits to all her family in Ontario and British Columbia made her year. Viewing will be held Monday, May 2 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, May 3 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, 168 Worth St. Interment and reception will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, friends so wishing may make a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200-6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6 or to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the Emergency Staff of the Seven Oaks Hospital for their care and compassion.
