Marie M. Bernard November 04, 1921 - April 27, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Fair Haven Funeral Home Marie Bernard, age 83, of Canaan NB passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at her daughter’s residence in Notre Dame of heart failure. Born in Collette NB on November 1921, she was the daughter of the late Benoit and Obeline (Gaudet) Buotte. Marie was retired from the Hotel Dieu Hospital of Moncton. She was a member of the club d’age d’or both Christ Roi and Notre Dame de Grace. She was a very enthusiastic bowler and dart player. Marie will be sadly missed by her eight children; Elvina Mitchell of Alberta, Noella (Eugène) Bourgeois of Moncton, Louis Bernard of Brampton, Raymond (Jeanette) Bernard of Irishtown, Rosella (Léonard) Leblanc of Canaan, Doris (Ulysse) Doiron of Memramcook, Anna (Emile) Richard of Notre-Dame, Jeanne (Eugène) Gauvin of Lakeside Estates, one sister; Sr. Marie Anne Buotte of Sherbrook P.Q., 22 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her husband Joseph Bernard of 62 years as well as three brothers and two sisters; Joseph, Wilfred, Michel, Sr. Josephine Buotte and Yvonne. Visitation at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Friday, April 29th from 7-9 Pm. The funeral service will be held Saturday April 30th, at 11:00 Am in the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home with a reception to follow in the Garden View Reception Room.
