Eliza Helena Caldwell (née Jessome) December 16, 1923 - April 16, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Lindsay's Windsor Funeral Home * CALDWELL......Eliza Helena, age 82, of Summerville, Hants County, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2005, in the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born on December 16, 1923, in Glace Bay, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, she was a daughter of the late William and Catherine (MacIntyre) Jessome. Eliza was a member of the Women's Institute, Summerville, as well as a member of the Pentecostal Church Auxillary. Her favourite pastimes were to read, knit and sew, when her hands let her. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by daughters, Catherine "Cathy" (Ernest) Mosher, Summerville; Donna Marie Wheadon (Ken Jardine), Falmouth; sons, Lawrence, Three Mile Plains; Roderick "Roddie" (Nancy), Summerville; Robert "Bobbie", Summerville; grandchildren, Janine, Chantel, Michelle, Daniel, and Shanalee; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen Carmichael, Ontario; Betty McLellan, Glace Bay; Mary Sampson, Halifax; brothers, Henry, Toronto; Michael, Glace Bay. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold Murray Caldwell; sisters, Grace Kelly and Josephine Kayasthin; brother, Angus. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, in Lindsay's Windsor Funeral Home, 194 KIng Street, Windsor. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2005, in the Kempt United Baptist Church, Summerville, with Rev. Garnet Parker officiating. Interment in the Loyal Hill Cemetery, Summerville. Donations may be made to the Parkinson Society Canada, Maritime Region or a charity of one's choice.
