Phyllis A. Dowd October 30, 1908 - April 08, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Campbell's Funeral Home Dowd Phyllis Alberta,” Auntie Phyll” (nee Doughtery), died peacefully at home on the 8th of April, 2005. Phyllis was born October 30th, 1908 in Coaticook, Quebec. She was predeceased by her husband Edmond Dowd. Phyllis is survived by her God-child and nephew Walter J. Willison (Evelyn), her great niece Terry-Lea Eason ( The Rev’d. Glenn), great nephews W. Bruce Willison (Verna) and Alan Willison (Lisa). She also had four great great nieces and nephews: Shawna Eason, Steven, Kayla and Katelyn Willison. Phyllis belonged to the Lady Minto Lodge in Springhill. A memorial service will be held at the Anglican Parish of Christ Church in Amherst on Wednesday May 4th, 2005 at 7 p.m. led by The Rev’d David Myles. The interment will be at a later date in Mount Royal Cemetery, Montreal, Quebec. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Christ Church, Amherst or charity of your choice.
