Johann "John" Felix Frommelt April 29, 1929 - April 01, 2005 Peacefully, on Friday April 1, 2005 at the Selkirk General Hospital, John passed away at the age of 75 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Florence of 45 years; daughters Kathy (Jeff) of Victoria, British Columbia, Heidi (Roddy) of Selkirk, Agnes (Earl) of Lockport; sons Floyd (Lynn) of Selkirk, Albert (Elsie) of Winnipeg, David (Tara) of Selkirk; one brother Karl (Anna) of Liechtenstein; sister Marlise of Liechtenstein, Barbara (Helmut) of Austria. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren will also cherish his memory. John was predeceased by his mother Maria, father Felix, brother Karl and recently, on July 23, 2004 his son Edwin. John was born on April 29, 1929 in Schaan, Liechtenstein, he later immigrated to Canada in 1952. John met Florence in Petersfield and they married on September 25, 1959. Together they raised their seven children in Petersfield. John was employed at the R.M. of St. Andrews where he worked in road maintenance for many years and made a lot of friends along the way. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 6 at 11:00 am in the St. Georges Wakefield Church, Hwy 9, Petersfield with Reverend Mawejje officiating. A viewing will be held prior to mass. Interment to follow. Pallbearers will be John A. Frommelt, Tyler Jones, Morris Greyeyes, Vernon Masters, Don Sherwood, Brent Wallack, honorary pallbearer will be Howard Greyeyes. The family would like to thank the Betel Home staff, Doctor Demsus and Selkirk General Hospital staff for all the care and kindness they gave to John. No longer in our lives to share, But in our hearts, you are always there.
