Donald J. MacMillan December 28, 1924 - April 26, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Fair Haven Funeral Home Donald J. MacMillan of Wilson Road, Riverview passed away on April 26, 2005 at the Moncton City Hospital. Born on December 28, 1924 in Moncton he was the son of the late John and Vera (Cosman) MacMillan. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Elizabeth (Bell) of 59 years, three daughters; Donna Small, Diane Yuill (Christopher), Wendy Keirstead (David), one sister Nan Hosford, grandchildren Jeremy Small (Colleen), Melanie Buwalda (Kevin), Donald Macaulay, Catherine McAulay, Jason Keirstead, Julie Keirstead, sister-in-laws Ruth Steeves (Lawrence) Eileen Troester and an extended family of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and sister Gerry Manning. Don lived in the greater Moncton area all his life. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy during World War II and was an active member of the Riverview Veterans and Armed Forces Association. He was employed with the Canadian National Railway for 42 years until his retirement in 1982. Following his retirement he was a Real Estate Agent for the former Keefe Realty. He was a lifetime member of Lewisville Baptist Church and served on various church boards. By the request of the family there will be no visitation prior to the funeral service. The service will take place at Fair Haven Funeral Home 1177 Salisbury Road Moncton, on Saturday, April 30, 2005 at 2:00 PM. The family will be greeting relatives and friends in the Garden View Reception Room following the service. Interment will take place on Saturday at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
