Mrs. Doreen Phillips (née Richards) October 15, 1925 - April 18, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Glenwood Funeral Home On April 18, 2005 Mrs. Doreen Phillips of Sherwood Park passed away peacefully with her family at her side. Doreen is lovingly remembered and missed by her husband Henry known as Harry, daughter Carole (Bob) Garness, son Geoff (Janet) Phillips, two grandchildren Jennifer and David (Kasha), one great-granddaughter Alisa, five brothers and sisters Pat (Alvern), Maria (Barry), Dilwyn (Megan), Anita (John), Antony (Beryl), brother-in-law Nat (Doreen) Phillips as well as many relatives in Wales and many good friends in the Sherwood Park area. Doreen was predeceased by her parents Doris and William Arthur Richards, three brothers Gwynn, Cyril, David, and one sister Gwladys. Friends and relatives may pay their respects to Doreen on Thursday, April 21, 2005 between 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home, south of Wye road on Range Road 232, Sherwood Park where a service of remembrance will be held Friday, April 22, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Doreen's final resting place will be in the Field of Honour at Glenwood Memorial Gardens.
