Dorothy Elizabeth Quigley January 08, 1925 - April 17, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel (Tecumseh) 80 years, passed away peacefully with family by her side on April 16, 2005 at Extendicare Tecumseh. Formerly of Truro, Nova Scotia. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Quigley (2001). Loving mother of Tom and wife Michelle of Windsor and Warren and wife Millie Chen of Ridgeway, ON. Dear grandmother of Sarah and husband Sail Ricks, Amy and husband Tony Facchineri, Laura Quigley and Finn Chen-Quigley and great-grandmother to Gianfranco and Ava Facchineri. Dear sister to Millard Rector, Evelyn Soper, Marg Johnston, Bill Cummings, Bob Cummings, Don Cummings, Lola Lynds and predeceased by Melita Geldart, Jim Cummings, Mina Canning, Tiny Smith and Jean Lambke. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Extendicare Tecumseh. Cremation has taken place and the interment of cremated remains will be held in Truro, Nova Scotia at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel Tecumseh,ON (519-735-2830). In kindness memorial donations to the Terry Fox Foundation 60 St. Clair Avenue East Toronto, ON M4T 1N5 would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted in memory of Dorothy Quigley in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held September 25, 2005. All are welcome.
