Noreen Isobel Quinlivan-Hall August 31, 1920 - April 16, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Lower Sackville) QUINLIVAN-HALL, Noreen Isobel - Died April 16, 2005, at the age of 84 in Halifax. Noreen Quinlivan married Douglas Wilfred Hall of Glasgow, Scotland, in Rangoon, Burma in 1944. She and Doug were inseparable and very much in love for 47 years. They were physically separated when Doug died in 1991. During the tumultuous war and postwar years, they moved from Burma to Malaysia, to Winnipeg, Ontario, New Brunswick, Halifax, and eventually retiring to Mushaboom on Nova Scotia's eastern shore. Noreen and Doug have two sons, Ian and David; grandchildren, Jared, Jenny, Duncan, Jillian, Annie, Sarah, Wilfred, Peter, and Chris; great-granddaughter, Erinn Noreen, who will remember her fondly. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. in Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr., Lower Sackville, with funeral mass Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, Herring Cove Road, Halifax, Father John Mills officiating. Burial in St. Dennis Roman Catholic Cemetery, East Ship Harbour. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Father Roberto and Vocation House at the Archdiocese of Halifax.
