Amy Florence HARNESS

BAKER (HARNESS), AMY FLORENCE 86, passed away on June 9, 2005 in Halifax. Amy treasured spending time with friends and family. She enjoyed new experiences and making new friends. She was an avid bridge player and liked gardening. She derived much pleasure from the colours and nuances of nature, fine art and music. Amy touched many lives, giving graciously of herself and her time. Amy will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her family and many friends. She is survived by her two daughters, Karen (Stephen), Ottawa, and Nichola, Halifax; grandson, Christopher, Ottawa; sister Jean, and brother Jack; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter B. Baker; brother Arthur; and sisters Audrey, Margaret, and Joy. Cremation has taken place. There will be no memorial service. Should friends desire, contributions in memory of Amy may be made to the charity of their choice. [Daily Gleaner]
