Mr. Hubert George Nelson March 08, 1911 - June 13, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Bowman Funeral Home NELSON: Hubert of Chatham passed away Monday, June 13, 2004 at C.K.H.A. Public General Campus in his 95th year. Beloved husband of Annie (nee Chianner) for more than 71 years. Father of Ken and his wife Judy. Grandfather of Heather and husband Kim Mifflin and Robb Nelson of Chatham. Great grandfather of Whitney and Colby Mifflin, Samantha, Jennifer, Rebecca and Nicole Nelson. Hubert was a Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus in Thunder Bay. For over 50 years his work culminated in the Great Lake shipping industry, construction of the Corvette Ships for the Canadian World War II effort, and retired from the Abitibi Paper Company. Herb will be sadly missed and fondly remembered. The family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, June 15, 2005 from 7-9 p.m. at Bowman Funeral Home, 4 Victoria Ave (352-2390). The Mass of Ressurection will be celebrated Thursday, June 16, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church, 145 Victoria Ave, Chatham.
