William Alton Brown September 05, 1927 - June 14, 2005 Funeral arrangements by James H Sutton Funeral Home BROWN, William Alton “Bill” Born September 5, 1927 in Deer Lake Newfoundland. Passed away June 14, 2005 at Windsor Regional Hospital Met Campus with his family by his side at the age of 76. Beloved husband of the late Alice (nee Floyd) (1978) and beloved husband of Dolores (nee Reaume). Dear father of Dorothy Brown and companion Ron Girard (Windsor), Timothy and Mary Brown (Amherstburg), Joseph and Mary Ellen Brown ( Essex), Lawrence and Craig at home. Predeceased by son William Jr. (1967). Dear grandpa of Tim and Frank Robinson, Tracey Brown, Melissa Brown and fiancé Jeff Davidson, Jessica Brown and fiancé Andrew Deslippe and Jaclyn Brown. Beloved great grandpa of Michael, Dillon and Cody Robinson. Dear Son of Eliza and the late Arthur Brown (1989). Dear brother of Valda Brown (Windsor), Sylvia Brown (Windsor), Joseph and Bernice Brown (Delta B.C). Predeceased by brothers Gilbert (1998) and Robert “Bob” (1985). Dear son-in- law to the late Wilfred (2003) and Vida Reaume (Tecumseh). Dear brother-in-law to Theresa and Rolland Vielleux (Tecumseh), Leonard and Darlene Reaume (Windsor), Francis and Audrey Reaume (Tecumseh), Roger Lemire (Tecumseh), Linda Lemire (Tecumseh), Michael and Cheryl Reaume (Campbell River B.C.), Rose Mary and Dan Wigle (Nanoose Bay B.C.) and the late Bernard Reaume and Honey Budinski (Windsor), the late Donna and Don Sherwood ( Port Alice B.C.). Will be missed dearly by many nieces and nephews. Bill retired as a Journeyman Instrument Technician at Allied Chemical after 35 years of service. He was a member of the Windsor Power Squadron since 1956 and was a founding director of the Bru Mon Yacht Club. A special thank you to Dr. Coughlin, Dr. Alam and nurse Maureen of the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre, and the nurses and staff of 4 West Oncology, Met Campus. Visitation at the JAMES H. SUTTON FUNERAL HOME, 401 Sandwich St., S, Amherstburg (736-2134) on Thursday June 16,2005 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service Friday June 17, 2005 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Internment Rose Hill Cemetery. As your expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre Field of Dreams M.R.I. Campaign. A tree will be planted in memory of Bill Brown in the Sutton Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held Sunday September 25, 2005. All are welcome.
