Trifun "Tom" Rikic Funeral arrangements by Donald V Brown Funeral Home It is with deep sadness that we announce his passing at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Thursday, June 16, 2005 in his 82nd year with his family at his side. Beloved husband of Zivka for 48 years. Also, loving father of Ray (Radovan) and his wife Joyce (Radojka), Maria and her husband Alan McCarthy. Beloved Deda of Victoria, Julia, Raymond and Sophia. He leaves behind his sister Radojka in Republika Srpska, along with other kumovi and relatives here in Canada and the USA. Predeceased by his parents Radovan and Tomanija, his siblings, Jovo, Desa, Cvijetan, Mara, Blagoje, Krsto, Bosiljka, Pelka and Gavrilo. Allied Veteran of WWII of the Royal Yugoslav Armed Forces, Majevacki Korpus, Brcanska Brigada. Prisoner of War and survivor of Nazi concentration camp, Mauthausen. He was a dedicated Dofasco employee for 37 years. Resting at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Ave. Dr., Stoney Creek. Visitation on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Pomen at 8 p.m. Funeral Service from St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral (149 Nash Road South) on Monday at 12:30 p.m. with The Very Reverend Father Lazar Vukojev officiating.
