Carole May Louise Dalton January 22, 1944 - June 13, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Glen Eden Funeral Home (Winnipeg) Carole passed away peacefully on June 13, 2005. She was born January 22, 1944 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Carole or “Billie” as she was also known, had a great deal of love and friendship to offer, and always shared her wonderful sense of humour. She was also a good cook. She was most proud of her business accomplishments and owned two hair salons in her 35 years as a stylist. She began her career in the beauty industry when she was 17 and never lost her passion for it. In her early 50’s, Carole changed careers and worked as a health care aide until her diagnosis of leukemia forced her into early retirement. She was predeceased by her parents William and Bernice Dalton. Carole is survived by her daughter Kathleen Anne Craig (Rob) and granddaughters Robyn, Samantha and Allyson, her son Bryan Robert Foerster (Michele). She also leaves behind her sister Lynn Skelly (Lawrence) of Winnipeg and brother John Loyd Dalton (Joyce) of Ottawa. According to her wishes, a graveside service will be held in her honour at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
