GILLIGAN, Margaret - Of Mattawa, passed away peacefully at the Algonquin Nursing Home, Mattawa, on Friday, January 28th, 2005 in her 92nd year. She is survived by her adult children; Gerald, of Sturgeon Falls, James (Eleanor) of Minden, Lillian Jamieson (Barry) of Willowdale, Mark (Sally) of Mattawa, her daughter-in-law Lynn of Newmarket. Sadly missed by 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her brother Arthur Rimes of Ajax and sister Beatrice Nesseth of Spanish. Predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph and her sons Bernard and Bartley, her daughter-in-law Aline, her brothers Albert and Mark. Friends and relatives may call at the T.L. Smith Funeral Home, Mattawa, on Monday, January 31st, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anne's Church, Mattawa, on Tuesday, February 1st, 2005 at 11 a.m. Spring interment in the family plot of the parish cemetery. Donations to the Mattawa General Hospital or to St. Anne's Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
