Emily Ann ASHURST

NEELY, Emily Ann - Passed away peacefully at her daughter's home, with her family at her side on Wednesday, March 2, 2005. Emily Ann Ashurst, was the beloved wife of the late Wilfred Calvin "Cub" Neely, she was in her 69th year. Loving mother of Gerry and his wife Maria of Bowmanville, David and his wife Suzanne of Spanish and Jenny and her husband Marc Amyotte of North Bay. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Shannon (David Hilgartner), Shawn Amyotte (Christine South), Nathan Amyotte and Dwight Neely. Dearly loved by her mother Ethel Mary (Breary) Ashurst. Predeceased by her father David Wesley Ashurst. Dearly beloved by her sister Francis Rintoul and her husband Don and by her family Leslie Ann, Kevin (Betty), Karen and Chris. Emily worked at Sunset School as an Educational Assistant for many years. Her work with special needs children was a big part of her life. She also enjoyed crocheting, doing crossword puzzles, tole painting, fishing, hunting and volunteering at the Blood Donor Clinic and at Cassellholme. Visitation will be held in the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME (across from City Hall) today, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Services from the Martyn Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, March 5th, at 1:30 p.m. Cremation will follow at the Forest Lawn Crematorium. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.-
