McCHARLES, Valentine - Passed away at North Bay General Hospital, Wednesday April 27, 2005 at the age of 89 years. Valentine (née Myre) was the beloved wife of the late Kenneth McCharles and loved mother of Theresa Carrière (late Roméo), Victor (Mildred), Betty Goodfellow (Richard), Edward (Lucille), Mildred McCharles, Evelyn Duplessis (late Lawrence), Henry, Kenneth (Marilyn), Rita St-Jean (René), Bernice Pitrovsky (Galvin), Michael (Monique), Robert (Marshelle) and Brian (Mary-Anne). She will be lovingly remembered by numerous grand, great, and great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by a daughter, Margaret, parents Roseanna Ledoux and Xavier Myre, brothers and sisters, Louis, Henri and Edouard Myre, Rose Paulin, Augustine Pilon, Léo, David, Victor and Marie-Louise Myre. Family and friends may pay their respects at McGUINTY FUNERAL HOME, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Paroisse St-Thomas d'Aquin, Astorville, Saturday at 2 p.m. Interment Astorville Cemetery.
