WHITEHEAD, Lorne Burton-Mr. Lorne Whitehead, formerly of Arnstein, died peacefully at Lady Isabelle Nursing Home on Sunday, June 19, 2005 in his 82nd year. Lorne was predeceased by his wife Evelyn Frances (Bell) (1927-2001) and by his son Dwight Whitehead (1948-1999). He was the loving father of Dan Whitehead (Anne) of Bancroft; Lonnie Whitehead (Rejeanne) of Arnprior; Pennylaine Whitehead and Sallyjeane Whitehead (John) of Windsor; and grandfather of Bruce, Joe, Tammy, Sheri, Wendy, Tanya, Jamie and Jamie and several great-grandchildren. Lorne was the dear brother of Orland Whitehead of Arnstein, Vernice Fetterly (Ken) of Waubaushene and Shirley Hanhimaki (Willy) of Sudbury and was predeceased by his sister Sylvia, brother Irvine and sister-in-law Barbara.. He is survived by his sister-in-law Olive Whitehead of Arnstein. The family will receive visitors at St. Paul's United Church, Golden Valley on Tuesday, June 21st from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Royal Canadian Legion Branch 415 Port Loring Tribute Service at 7 pm. The funeral service will be held in the Church on Wednesday at 11 am. Interment St. Paul's Cemetery.
