DONOVAN, DONALD PAUL Mr. Donald Paul Donovan of Fredericton, NB, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2005 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born in Renous, NB, April 27, 1930, he was the son of the late Melvin and Ethel (McNeil) Donovan. He was retired from Sobey's. He was a member of the Roman Catholic Church. He is survived by three sisters; Ruth Jardine of Quarryville; Mary Brown of Fredericton; Theresa Spurr of Brampton, ON; one brother; Wayne Donovan of Toronto. Besides his parents he was predeceased by one sister; Francis LeBlanc and two brothers; Robert and James. Mr. Donald Paul Donovan, rested Father Murdock Memorial Room, Renous, with visitation on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Saturday, June 18, 2005 at 3PM from St. Bridget's Roman Catholic Church, with Monsignor Joseph Woods officiating, assisted by Father Vincent Donovan. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Organist was Blanche Donovan. Hymns were "Here I am Lord", "How Great Thou Art", "I Have Loved You", "Into Your Hands", "If God is for Us". Scripture readings were read by Tammy (Brown) Seguin and Tanya Jardine. At the request of the family donations to a memorial of ones choice would be appreciated. Active pallbearers were nephews; Graham Brown, Ryan Seguin, Lee Jardine, Terry Jardine, Lindsay Jardine, and Michael Jardine. Arrangements in care of Davidson's Funeral Sevice Ltd.
