MOSES, LOIS IRENE - It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mrs. Lois Irene (Hatt) Moses, 85 of St. George, NB and formerly of Blacks Harbour, NB, devoted wife of the late Donald Eugene Moses, occurred at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, NB on Monday, June 20, 2005. Born in L'Etang, NB on September 14, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Artemus James and Margaret Elizabeth (Danbury) Hatt. Lois is survived by her loving children, Donna (Edward) Comeau of Pennfield, Sharon (John) Turrell of Gondola Point and Marsha (Michael) Dougan of Blacks Harbour and Randy (Donna) Moses of Blacks Harbour; seven grandchildren; Shawn Comeau, Heather Jones, Christopher Turrell, Billy Turrell, Morgan Dougan, Drew Dougan, and Craig Moses; five great-grandchildren, Zack Jones, Noah Jones, Brieanna Comeau, Mattison Comeau and Cassie Turrell; one brother, Clyde (Olive) Hatt; two sisters, Carrie Ring and Dorothy Anderson; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four sisters, Marie Hatt, Helen Hatt, Bernice Robinson and Eunice Maxwell; five brothers, George Hatt, Enoch Hatt, Horace Hatt, James Hatt and Utley Hatt; grandchildren, Sharon Turrell, Irene Turrell, Donald Dougan, David Dougan, and Arden Neil Comeau. Lois was an employee of Connors Bros. Ltd., Blacks Harbour, for over 50 years. She had been a member of the Granite Chapter #15 OES for over 40 years, was an avid Bingo player and loved yard sales. Visiting hours will be held at the St. George Funeral Home, on Wednesday, June 22nd from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A memorial service will be held from The Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel at the St. George Funeral Home at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 23rd, with Rev. Gordon Cook Jr. officiating. An Eastern Star tribute in Lois' memory will be held on Wednesday night at 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Lois' memory be made to the Charlotte County Cancer Society, The Palliative Care Unit of Charlotte County Hospital, or a charity of the donor's choice.
