Raymond "Ray" Dennis Worrod August 25, 1931 - June 20, 2005 After a courageous battle with cancer, on Monday, June 20, 2005, Ray Worrod of Burlington (formerly of Waterdown) passed away peacefully at the age of 73 years. Loved father of Lynda and Greg Turner of Lindsay, Glenn Worrod of Squamish, B.C., Sue and Fred McGovern of Burlington, and Karen Worrod of Vancouver, B.C. Dear Grandpa of Erin, Ryan, Jennifer, Kristyne, Vanessa and Brodie. Also survived by his sister Eileen Worrod and his former wife Mary Berry. Ray was the former owner of Ray's Variety in Waterdown and was also an employee of Royal Oak Dairy and Mammie's Bread. Friends may call at the KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Friday from 7-9 p.m. where the Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2005 at 1 p.m. Private cremation to follow.
