James HARDY

Rev. James Hardy LOWER COVERDALE, NB - Rev. James Hardy, 88, of Lower Coverdale, and formerly of Mississauga, ON, passed away peacefully at his daughter's residence in Bible Hill, NS on Thursday, June 23, 2005. Born in Belfast, Ireland, he was the son of the late Richard and Mary (Cooke) Hardy. Rev. Hardy was a retired Pentecostal Minister, having worked and served in various communities in Ontario. Rev. Hardy will be sadly missed by his wife of over 67 years, Margaret (Penney) Hardy; daughter, Darlene Decker (William), Bible Hill, NS; son, David (Marilyn), Lower Coverdale; grandchildren, David, Stephen, Paul, Michael, Brendan, Cheri-Lynn; great grandchildren, Jessica, Joshua, Bradley, Sarah; several nieces and nephews. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Predeceased by sisters, Maude and Minnie; brothers, Richard and Herbert. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) Saturday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm.
