GRUBER, Matijas "Max" 70 years, born May 28, 1935, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2005 at London Health Sciences Centre, University Campus. Late of Leamington. Beloved husband of Lydia Gruber (nee Lehn). Beloved father of Rick and Susan Gruber and their children, Ricky and Lauren; Ron and Tammy Gruber and their children, Joseph and Brandon. Dear son-in-law of Maria Lehn. Beloved brother of John Gruber, Katie Schmidt, Annie Massong and brother-in-law of Jake Lehn and Mary Gruber. Also survived by several cousins, nephews and nieces. Predeceased by his parents, John and Mary Gruber, his brother, Joseph Gruber and his brothers-in-law, Adam Schmidt and Peter Massong. Max was a founding member of the Rhine Danube Club and an active member of the Rhine Danube Sportsmen. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home 14 Russell Street, Leamington (326-2631) on Friday 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass to celebrate Max's life at St. Joseph's Church on Saturday, June 4, 2005 at 10 a.m. Fr. Pat Fuerth officiating. Interment Erie Memorial Gardens, Leamington. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Leamington Mennonite Home Project Home Rebuild.
