CHAUVIN, Claire "Clara" 72 years, died peacefully on June 2, 2005, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Norman F. Chauvin. Beloved daughter of her late parents Emma (nee Goudreau) and Alcide Martin. Loving mother of Annette Pinsonneault and her husband Paul of St. Joachim, Patricia Sarson of Windsor, Pauline O'Connor and her husband Charles "Chuck", Roger Chauvin and his wife Pauline, all of Stoney Point. Dear Meme and Grand-meme of Rachelle Moison and her husband Bern, Danielle Lanoue and her husband Randy, P.D. Pinsonneault, Jazmin and Alexa Sarson, Kaslyne O'Connor, Nicholas, Forrest and Skylar Chauvin and the late Tarin O'Connor (1990) and great grandchildren Blaze and Zoe Moison. Dear sister of Robert Martin and his wife Yolanda of Chatham, and Eleanore Paton of Woodstock. Dear sister-in-law of Angie Chauvin of Stoney Point, Agnes Mailloux and her husband Israel of St. Catharines, Marie Chauvin of Pain Court, Lucille Russell of British Columbia, Estelle Spezowka of Emery-ville, Clarence Chauvin and his wife Rachael of Stoney Point, Laurie Chauvin of Belle River, Denis Chauvin and his wife Paulette of Stoney Point, Gerald Chauvin and his wife Donna of New Brunswick and predeceased by Louis Chauvin (2001), Marc Chauvin (2004), Marcel Chauvin (1999), Bill Spezowka (1974), Madeleine Chauvin (1984) and Elmer Russell (2005). Clara was a retired school teacher and was a member of the following organizations: the Retired Teachers Association of Ontario, Dames de St. Anne, Club de L'Age d'Or LeFoyer, C.W.L. and Lioness Club. In kindness, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of Windsor, Windsor Regional Cancer Centre or the Stoney Point New Church Building Fund as your expression of sympathy. Special thanks to Dr. Charmaine Jones, Dr. Ray Anderson and Dr. Dhar and Nurse Nancy of St. Elizabeth Homecare. Visiting on Sunday 7-9pm. and Monday 2-5 and 7-9 pm. with parish prayers on Monday 8 pm. Funeral on Tuesday, June 7, 2005 at 9 am from Melady Funeral Home, 572 Notre Dame St., Belle River then to Annunciation Church in Stoney Point for Mass of Christian Burial at 10am. Fr. Dwayne Adam officiating. Interment in Annunciation Church Cemetery. A tree will be planted in the Melady Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held on Sunday September 25, 2005.
