DONISON, Helen (nee Boghean) Passed away following a short illness, with her loving family at her side, on Tuesday June 13, 2005 at Hotel Dieu Hospital, at the age of 94 years. Beloved wife of the late John Miron Donison (1998). Dear mother of Nick Donison and wife Marie of Harrow, Ontario; Mary Lee and husband Charlie of Windsor; and the late Johnny Donison (1953). Dear Grandma of John and wife Patty Lee, Stephanie Megdall and Ray White, Chris and wife Sue Donison, and the late Richard Donison and his surviving wife Karen. Dear Great-Grandma of Adam, Patrick, Ryan, Breanne, Aaron, Craig, Bradley, Shannon, Dillon and Mary-Meaghen. Dear sister of Jean Varteniuk of Pickering Ont., John Boghean and wife Dorothy of Windsor, Nick Boghean and wife Emma of Limerick Sask., and the late Mary Mott, George Boghean, Dan Boghean, Margaret Jonescu, Bill Boghean and Vera Lapon. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Helen was retired following many years of service as a Nurse's Aide at Grace Hospital. Mrs. Donison, along with her late husband John, was a longtime and most active member of St. George's Romanian Orthodox Cathedral, acting as a Past President of The Women's Reunion Organization, and up to the time of her passing, was still involved in the Church Choir. Helen will be dearly missed by all of her friends,and the staff at Oak Terrace. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Thursday June 16, 2005 from 2-5 and 7-9 pm. Prayers Thursday at 7:30 pm. The family will receive friends on Friday June 17, 2005 at St. George's Romanian Orthodox Cathedral (1960 Tecumseh Rd., East at Kildare) from 9:00 am until time of Funeral Service at 10:00 am.Rev. Fr. George Sandulescu officiating. Interment to follow at Windsor Grove Cemetery. As your expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the St. George's Church Building Fund.
