SMITH, Kathleen Marguerite "Rita" - It is with sorrow that the family announces her passing away peacefully at Manitoulin Centennial Manor in Little Current, Ontario, on Friday, June 10th, 2005 at age eighty-six. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Laughton Smith, loving daughter of Robert and Jean Duncan nee Elliot (predeceased). Sadly missed by her son Daniel (Cathy) Smith of Massey and daughter Nancy (Derry) Fairweather of Buckhorn. Cherished grandmother of Bethany, Candice, Sarah, Amanda and great-grandmother of Mitchell, Kaylan, Reeghan and Kaiyah. "Rita" sister to Robert and George Duncan (predeceased) and sister Lorraine Kitchin. The family wishes to thank the staff at Centennial Manor for their kindness and compassion. At her request, cremation with a memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer Society of Ontario or Community-Care Harvey in Buckhorn would be greatly appreciated by the family.
