WHITNEY, Mabel Helena - At Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Monday, May 30, 2005, Mabel Derrett of Alma Street, Norwood (formerly of George St N, Peterborough) in her 90th year. Wife of the late Sherman. Loving mother of Bruce of Florida, Mae Wheeler and her husband Ken of Bridgenorth, Helen Hampton and her husband Roger of Warsaw, Jim and his wife Theresa of Orillia, Bob and his wife Ann of Simcoe, Margaret Reid and her husband Ron of Regina, Sask and the late Joan Wheeler, Ann Deir and Ernie Whitney. Also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters. Sister-in-law of Ernie Whitney of Port Burwell. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Resting at the Brett "Havelock" Chapel after 12:30 Thursday until time of service at 1:30 p.m. Reverend James Armstrong officiating.
