MILLER, Blodwin F. Joyce Late of Iler Lodge, Essex. Passed away peacefully June 23, 2005 at W.R. Hospital Met Campus at the age of 81. Beloved wife of the late Burdette (1992). Loving daughter of the late Albert Urie (1984) and wife Blodwin May (1947). Dear sister of Olive Guindon and husband Thomas, CA; Robert Urie and the late Rowland (1942). Dear sister-in-law of the late Robert Miller (1999) and wife Barbara. Proud Aunt of Tim Miller, of Windsor; Larry and wife Phyllis Guindon and son David of MI; Lorraine and Rene Grivel, Russell and wife Elsa Guindon, Lisa Guindon and friend Rick Miller, Eric and wife Katrina Guindon and daughter Kelsey, all of CA. Joyce was one the first female wireless operators in the Canadian Women Air Force serving from August 1943-Aug. 15, 1945 in both Dartmouth & Sydney, N.S. She retired from the Ford Motor Co of Canada after 36 years of service. Cremation has taken place. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to Morris Sutton Funeral Home & Cremation Centre. A tree will be planted in memory of Blodwin Miller in the Morris Sutton Heritage Forest. A dedication service will take place Sept. 25, 2005. All are welcome. Published in the Windsor Star on 6/24/2005.
