ANTIC, Ivan Joseph Suddenly on June 23, 2005 at 59 years of age. Beloved husband of Cheryl (nee Benstead). Loving father of Alexander, Andrew, and Austin. Dearest son of parents Jerko and Marija and Antic and brother of Mladen, all of Croatia. Cherished son-in-law of Marlene Benstead and the late Harry and brother-in-law of Linda Benstead. Lifelong friend of Ivan Benes of Copenhagen. Ivan was a retired millwright with G.M. Transmission Plant and a member of CAW Local 1973. He was also a member of the O.H.H.A. and C.T.A. A special thank you to Dr. Caughlin and the Trauma Unit for their valiant effort and kindness. A private remembrance was held according to Ivan's wishes. Cremation and final resting place to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to Morris Sutton Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (254-8633). A tree will be planted in memory of Ivan Antic in the Morris Sutton Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held September 25, 2005. All are welcome. Published in the Windsor Star on 6/28/2005.
