Carol Anne TARMEY

De GAGNE, Carol Anne (nee Tarmey). At the Mount Sinai Hospital of Montreal. Passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2005 at the age of sixty-nine years after a courageous battle with cancer. Carol is survived by her son Marc, her brother Jack, her sister Judy, her foster granddaughter Keshalla as well as many friends and family all over the world. Carol was a longtime member of the St-Laurent Neighborhood Association, founding member of the St-Laurent Tenants Association and Past-President of the National Board of the Parent Family Association of Canada (O.P.F.A.). An educator and social activist, Carol's energy, dedication and humour has inspired all those who knew her and still more whom did not. Visitation will be held at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex (1297 Chemin de la Foret, Outremont, 514-279-6540) on Saturday, June 4, 2005 from 4 to 7 p.m. A Memorial Service will take place in the Chapel of the Complex on Sunday, June 5 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a contribution to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Mount Sinai Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated.
