PARK, Bonnie After a long and courageous battle with cancer on May 30, 2005, Bonnie Borden of Orleans in her 62nd year passed away peacefully. Beloved wife of Larry Park. Cherished mother of Stephen (Jennifer) of Riverview, New Brunswick and Jennifer (Jamie Trofimczuk) of Orleans. Proud grandmother of her four "grand girls", Shaelyn, Cassidy, Devon and Ryann. Survived by her father Harold Barrymore Borden and her brother, Robert (Joan) Borden of Orangeville. Predeceased by her mother, Molly Borden (Arcus). Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Bonnie will be very much missed by her loving family and many friends. She taught in public schools in Oshawa, Mississauga, Windsor, Brampton and Orleans. Since her retirement she has been active with quilting groups and guilds both in Ontario and Florida and in volunteer work with the Ottawa library and a public school library. Sincere thanks for the wonderful support and care provided by the health professionals at the Ottawa Hospital General Campus Oncology Department, the VON Palliative office, the Community Nursing Registry of Ottawa and the At-Home Hospice. Special thanks to Doctor Michael Fung Kee Fung and Doctor Jane Batten. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 2370 St. Joseph Blvd., Orleans, Friday after 12 noon.
