THOMPSON, Christine Mary Peacefully in hospital, Perth on Tuesday, May 31st, 2005, Christine M. (Bridgett) Thompson in her 80th year. Beloved wife of 56 years to Robert L. Thompson. Cherished mother and grandmother of E. Jane (Fred Brennan) Thompson; Peter L. (Carol) Thompson and their children Jonathon, Benjamin and Stephanie; and John C. (Ellen) Thompson and their children Spencer and Candace. Christine will be sadly missed by her sister Nancy Hawkins, her sisters-in-law Frances Bridgett, Ruth Graves and their families, her godchildren Robert Hawkins and Susan Wickware and many good friends. She was predeceased by her brother William B. Bridgett. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth, Thursday, June 2nd from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in St. James Anglican Church, Friday at 11 a.m., followed by a reception in the Parish Hall. Private interment will be held in Elmwood Cemetery. In remembrance, the family would appreciate contributions to the Foundation of the Great War Memorial HOpsital, Perth or a charity of your choice to benefit the environment.
