VERNEY, Joan (nee Smith) Peacefully on Wednesday, June 1st, 2005 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late John Verney. Dear mother of Peter John Verney (Linda Barber), Ann Kakuno (Fred) and Claire Verney (Michael Torontow). Loving grandmother of Kristine Anna, Emily, Laura and William. Sister of Philip Smith (Rose) and the late Roland Smith (Jene). Special thanks to Monika Lucak and the wonderful staff at St-Patrick's Home for their compassionate care. No visitation.
