HARPER, James Clarke. Of Oakville, long time employee of Northern Telecom and Past President of the Telephone Pioneers of America, in his eighty-third year, passed away on Monday, May 30, 2005 at the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Predeceased by his wife Doris and his sister Ruby Jane. Survived by his brother Kendall of Quebec, his daughter Janice (Porter) and her husband Tony, and three grandchildren, Sean, David and Katherine Porter. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville, 905-844-2600, on Tuesday, June 7, 2005 from 4 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 5 p.m. in the Kopriva Chapel. Interment at Mount Royal Cemetery, Montreal follows at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, or the Oakville & District Humane Society, or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
