CAVAYE, Wm. Mackie (aka Sandy, Winkie, Uncle Bill) Horticulturist - Retired Dept. of Agriculture Peacefully, at Villa Marconi, on Thursday, May 19, 2005. Born in Edinburgh in 1909. Son of the late Andrew and Christina (Grieve), beloved husband of the late Phyllis W. Moor, dearly loved father of Ronald (Celia), Heather and Ann Cousineau (Fern). Grandfather to Denise McCarthy (Ken) and Carole Fuhrer (Walt) and "More-Grampa" to Monique (James), Christine, Michael, Nina and Sierra. Predeceased by 7 brothers and 3 sisters. Survived by sister-in-law, Lillian (England) and many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry, 315 McLeod St. on Sunday, June 12 from 2-5 p.m. A graveside service will be held at Beechwood Cemetery on Monday, June 13 (the 10th anniversary of his dear wife's death) at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Ottawa-Carleton.
