STRAIN, Francis "Frank" Gilchrist July 15, 1928-June 8, 2005 It is with great sadness I announce the peaceful passing of my father after a courageous battle with cancer. He kept his sense of humour to the end. With much thanks to friend Bernie Hoffarth and the unbelievable staff at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital, the General Hospital and the Elisabeth Bruyere Centre. Proof that there are angels on Earth.
