DONOVAN, Leo Joseph. (1931-2005) Passed away peacefully and in the arms of his beloved and adoring wife of fifty-two years, Halina (Horbaczewska). Deeply loved and cherished father of Michael (Jane), Kathleen (Wayne), Aileen (Tom). Dear Grumpy of Kayleigh and Matthew. He leaves to mourn his sister Patricia, brother John (Anne) as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his sisters Mary Eileen, Rita, Marguerite, Theresa and brother Dennis. Will be sorely missed by all his grand-dogs and many furred and feathered friends who enjoyed his life-long tireless generosity. Front line veteran of the Royal 22nd Regiment during the Korean War, after which he was a dedicated employee of Eastern Airlines for thirty-one years. Accomplished landscape artist. Thank you to the staff of the Lakeshore General Hospital, 4 West. Visitation will be held at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd., D.D.O., 514-685-3344 on Sunday, June 12, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., as well as Monday, June 13, 2005 from 4 to 7 p.m. The funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2005 at 1 p.m., at St. Luke's Parish, 106A Anselme Lavigne, D.D.O. Burial to follow at Rideau Memorial Gardens. Always and forever, your Irish eyes will be smiling. Your lilting laughter echoing in our hearts. Your precious memory remains with us until we met again.
