MANHART, Violet Alexandra 1904-2005 Died peacefully in Ottawa on Friday, 10 June 2005 at the Glebe Centre. Daughter of Georg Johan Gundersen and Anna Margarethe Neilson of Denmark. Sister of Anna, Peter, Hilda, Ted, Lilly, Gwen and George, all deceased. Survived by dear sister-in-law Sylvia in Calgary. Loving mother of Clifford Spicer (Barbara), Peterborough; Erik Spicer (Helen), Ottawa; Linda/Samantha Manhart, Wallace (Keith), Fairfield, Iowa. Proud grandmother of Robert Spicer (Cathy), Olds, Alberta; Joyce, Edmonton; Erika Scott (Andrew), Vancouver; John Spicer (Patricia), Toronto; Eden Christov Danaher (Tony), California; Lila Wallace, Fairfield, Iowa. Loving great-grandmother of Kevin Spicer, Olds; Elizabeth, Katherine and Caroline Scott, Vancouver; Gabriella Spicer, Toronto; Collin and Aidan Daniher, California. Caring aunt of Marguerite Davis, Cleveland, Ohio; Fern Richmond, Rochester, Michigan; Barbara Bateman, Almonte; Joan Moffat, Burlington; Derek Lunn, Toronto; Anina Gundersen, Ottawa; Chris Gundersen, Bath; Abigail Gundersen, Calgary; and their families. Private family memorial service and interment, Beechwood Cemetery. At her request, no flowers or visitation.
