O'CONNELL, Patrick (Pat) John George March 20, 1953 - June 12, 2005 If there's a Rock & Roll Heaven, Pat's now playing guitar with Jimi Hendrix. Suddenly at home on Sunday, June 12, 2005 at the age of 52 years. Pat O'Connell, dear son of Michael O'Connell and the late Gladys Wakerell. Loving father of Tammy (Tony Restivo) and proud grandfather of Lewis, who captured his heart. Survived by brothers Mike, Robert, Richard (Nancy) and Tim and sister Rhea (John Quinn). An accomplished hockey player, music lover and computer geek, Pat's talents were many. Friends may pay their respects to the family at the Whelan Funeral Home, 515 Cooper St. (between Bay & Lyon) on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service on Thursday, June 16, 2005 time and place to be confirmed.
