KENNEDY, Dorothy E. In the Perley Rideau Veterans' Health Centre in Ottawa on Monday, June 13, 2005 at the age of 96. Survived by her husband Clifford K. Kennedy and her son Keltie Bruce Kennedy, both of Ottawa, daughter-in-law Mrs. Maureen Lamy and granddaughter Lara Jasmine Kennedy of Gatineau, Quebec, two nieces Joan of Halifax and Gail of Toronto. Dorothy was a long time Canadian Nurse and graduated in Toronto in 1932. She later served overseas during WWII with the RCAMC. Dorothy will be fondly remembered by many friends including: Mrs. Anna MacKenzie of Southampton, N.S., Mr. & Mrs. Peter Behr of Hampton, N.B., Jan and Dan of Carleton Place, Ina Dann and family, Lance and Ellen of Brockville, Mrs. Yvonne Weber of Chelsea PQ and Ms. Astra de Haan of Ottawa. Many thanks to the nurses and staff of the Perley Rideau Veterans' Health Centre. Special thanks to Ann Andries, Jennifer Maley and Mae Redmond for long and loving care given to Dorothy over the past several years. A Service in Memory of Dorothy will be held on Friday, June 17, 2005 at 3:30 in the chapel of Perley Rideau (1750 Russell Rd., Ottawa). Interment of cremated remains will take place in Hampton, New Brunswick at a later date. If so desired, donations can be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer's Society.
