POPE, A. Verna Peacefully at her home in Perth, surrounded by love, Verna A. (Paul) Pope (respected elementary teacher for many years, accomplished china painter and retired from Ottawa Valley Tours) in her 86th year. Predeceased in 1978 by her husband Jack Pope. Much loved and respected mother of Lyn and her husband Paul Gilmour and Susan Lamanna and her husband Mark Winstanley. Cherished grandmother of Cherith Hyndman (Chris Miller) and Matt Hyndman, Aleisa and Taylor Lamanna and Christina Winstanley. Great-grandmother of Hayley and Jack Hyndman. Dear sister of Eileen (late George) Wylie, Brien (Marion) Paul and the late Elmer Paul. Daughter of the late Ray and Minnie Paul. Verna will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her sister-in-law Dorothy Paul, her nieces, nephews, family and many friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth on Friday, June 17th, 2005 from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Perth, on Saturday at 11 a.m. Interment Elmwood Cemetery.
