BOOTH, George. Passed away peacefully at the Jewish General Hospital at the age of 94 years on Tuesday, June 14, 2005. He is survived by son, David (Valerie) Booth of Nanaimo, B.C. and by nephew Marc (Celine) Booth. Mr. Booth was employed by Bell Telephones for over 44 years. He served in the Second World War with the Royal Canadian Signal Corps. Mr. Booth also played trombone with the Black Watch and the Royal Montreal Regiment. The memorial service will be held at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd. D.D.O., QC (514) 685-3344 on Monday, June 20, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one half hour prior to the funeral. Interment will follow in the family plot at Mont Royal Cemetery. Published in the Montreal Gazette on 6/18/2005
